He passed the written Neurosurgical Board Exam with 96%.
Shawn P. Moore, MD is co-author and is a 5th year neurological surgery resident at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He authored The Definitive Neurological Surgery Board Review which Thomas edited. Dr. Moore graduated from the University of Kansas School of MEdicine with a GPA 4.0/4.0 and class rank of 1 out of 174.

Excellent source for any neurosurgery resident. I used it to study for board exams and have found it to be the best question book out there for ABNS.

Probably the best board review book out there in my opinion

Probably the best board review book out there in my opinion, although there are clear errors in it. You will definitely need to reference other text books to ace the neurosurgery boards. It is not a stand alone book in my opinion (nor should it be!).

Good content, but the book is obviously a pdf ...

Good content, but the book is obviously a pdf that has been printed out and bound. Many pages have highlights embedded in the printed document. If I would have known this was simply a bound knockoff of a pdf, I would have pirated it online rather than spend $80 on a "new" version.
